Apartment location

The apartment is located next to the beach called Meia Praia, within only 20 minutes walking distance of the city centre of Lagos and within 100 metres (328 feet) walking distance from the beach. You can enjoy the vibrant life in the city or find peace and quiet in your apartment.

Public transport

The closest airport in the Algarve is called Aeroporte Internacional de Faro. The airport is 80km (50miles) away from the apartment. The local bustation is 100 metres (328 feet) walking distance. The train station is within 1 km walking distance and has a direct connection with Faro.

Rent a car

When you get out of the airport there are several car rental options on the right side, however you can get a good deal by pre-ordering a rental car with Polo rent a car.

Weather

In Summer the temperatures can rise up to 28 degrees, but the suiting temperatures in Winter is the main reason why many people hibernate here! In December the temperature is around 18 degrees and the sea is still warm enough to go for a swim in if you are a daredevil enough.

When you are in the sun and out of the wind you can still get a nice tan in winter. Altogether in Lagos you can definitely get your vitamin D boost all year long!

Restaurants

Along the shore, around the Marina harbour and in the city centre there are several restaurants that are open all year round e.g. check out the hip and trendy Southwest Bistro or one of the shore restaurants such as Berlim or Por do Sol.

Sightseeing

A trip to the cliffs is a must see for all! You can either hop on a touristic boat, drive up with your car or go for a day hike. Along the shore there are several cliffs that take your breath away. Definitely check out Ponta da Piedade when you are here!

Watersports

When you are into watersports then you won’t get bored here! In the area there is surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and many more. Prefer to stay on the boat? Then you can go sea fishing, kayaking, sailing or go on a tour to watch dolphins. To relax you can visit the many beautiful beaches that the area has to offer.
